The main body of the external-screen spiral vending machine is identical to that of a standard spiral vending machine, except that the control cabinet has been removed and the screen is embedded into the door frame and glass. The locking mechanism has been replaced with a top-and-bottom locking system.

Advantages: Compact size and an affordable price.

Disadvantages: It cannot be retrofitted with additional accessories; the screen is a lower-end model.
